UTILITY SERVICES AGAIN SURPRISED BY SNOW

Communal Inspectorate of Municipality of Palilula visited the settlements in the municipality in order to analyze traffic mobility and found that most of the street is not cleaned of snow.According to Boban Džunić, president of municipality of Palilula, the main problem is to prioritize the cleaning of streets, where the territory of the municipality is generally classified in the second and third priority. It is necessary that some roads in Palilula belong to the first category of the importance for utility."We visited approach to Durmitorska street of Rudnička street to end with both sides, and none of them are cleaned. There are also Kalač Brdo, Bubanj, we went to the Donje and Gornje Medjurovo.

HOW TO CONNECT GABROVAC ROAD WITH MOKRANJCEVA STREET?

After a call to the City Municipality of Palilula earlier this year sen from the citizens tot Boban Džunić , the president of municipality, in order to take an active part in development priorities and investment in rural municipalities, citizens from the Mokranjceva street (Sava Tanić, Miodrag Petrović, Zoran Randjelovic, Dragan Bačanin, Slobodan Miladinovic, Bratislav Ilic, Nebojša Nikolic, Sasa Stefanovic and Slobodan Cvetanović ) requested the assistance from the municipality. They reported a perennial problem of regulation of road, the street that connects with Mokranjceva with Gabrovac road, a distance of about 400 meters.

ECOLOGY - FIRST STEP TOWARDS EU

On the occasion of the final activities of the international project "Living Green", which Palilula Municipality Niš implemented in 2013, as a part of the CBC program Bulgaria-Serbia (IPA Cross-Border Programme), in partnership with the Bulgarian municipality IHTIMAN, there were a one-day event called Environment Day held at the Nis Cultural Centre.On this occasion, the participants and organizers of the project were welcomed by Boban Džunić, president of Municipality of Palilula, in the presence of Atanas V.Krstin, Consul General Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Nis, and Kaloyan Iliev Angelov, President of the partner municipality of Ihtiman.

Municipality of Palilula Nis promoted the deserving institutions and individuals. At a ceremony at the Media Centre in Nis, 35 organizations and individuals received public recognition "Palilula Charter", and 59 artists and institutions received gratitude certificate, "Konstantinov stit", by Multimedia Association of Artists "Car Konstantin"."It is a great pleasure when after successfully accomplished activities that we as Palilula Municipality had in the year 2013, we thank those individuals, organizations and institutions, who have been with us - says Boban Džunić, president of the Municipality of Palilula at a ceremony organized at the Media Centre, on the occasion of the delivery of the Charters and Gratitude certificates.
